Blue Dragon ‘Legendary Stir Fry’ has launched a TV and digital marketing campaign showcasing how easy it is for uses to give their stir fry legendary status by using the range.

Created by JWT London, the UK campaign goes live this week and is supported by the line ‘Make your stir fry legendary with Blue Dragon’. The creative was devised as a response to feedback that consumers needed to create quick and healthy meals on a weekday.

The TV ad features the character Charlie becoming an overnight sensation, when questioned about his new status its revealed that Charlie has no idea that Blue Dragon is the reason behind his success.

JWT London also created the digital arm of the campaign which launches with the ‘Legendary Stir Fry Maker’ Facebook app. The bespoke app allows busy consumers to ‘spin a wok’ to generate Blue Dragon stir fry recipe suggestions. User have the choice of imputing ingredients they have at their disposal already or clicking ‘surprise me’ for inspiration. The recipes as well as secret stir fry ingredient suggestions can then be shared with friends via the app.

The campaign will also be supported by experiential and shopper marketing activity.
