GLAMOUR Magazine editor Jo Elvin is to take part in a Google+ hangout on Monday 11 February to celebrate the launch of GLAMOUR ’s first range for Very.co.uk.

Along with members of the GLAMOUR fashion team, Elvin will be chatting to fans and bloggers about the collection. As well as being able to ask the team style question there will also be the chance to win prizes including subscriptions to GLAMOUR, a style consultation with the team, and a £1000 shopping spree at Very.co.uk.

Marketing and communications agency crush are managing the activity and have launched a Facebook application including video ident starring Elvin to introduce the collaboration via social media.

Fans and readers online are encouraged to leave messages on the application stating why they would like to participate in order to be in with the chance of being one of the six fans taking place in the virtual chat, which will be streamed on both Very.co.uk and GLAMOUR ’s Google+ profiles.

In addition to chatting with the six hangout participants the GLAMOUR team will also be taking questions submitted via Facebook, Twitter and Google+ using the hashtag #GlamourHangout. A separate closed Google+ hangout has also been arranged for a selection of key fashion bloggers who will be given more details on the range and provided with their favourite items and an embed code to stream the hangout.

A ‘watch and win’ competition will round off the initiative offering fans the chance to watch the hangout on demand next week to win items from the collection and subscriptions to GLAMOUR Magazine.
