GalaBingo.com launches celebrity filled Facebook App with The Hoff
GalaBingo.com has revealed it is set to launch a Facebook App featuring a live broadcast feed which will feature a different celebrity each week and first up is the Knight Rider himself, David Hasslehoff.
The Facebook App will debut on the Gala Live TV channel at 10pm on Friday 8 February along with The Hoff. GalaBingo.com hopes the Facebook App and live celebrity show will help the brand to tap into the celebrity fan market.
The interactive product allows players to both watch and participate in exclusive celebrate interviews during live broadcasts. An On-Demand video service will also be available for repeat viewing.
Various social media channels will be employed to make members aware of the participating celebrity one week in advance with users then encouraged to Tweet, post and upload their questions for the live show via a dedicated link.
Hasslehoff's appearance coincides with the launch of GalaBingo.com's new 'Hoff' Scratchcard and its accompanying bonus offer promotion. The Baywatch star will use his own Facebook and Twitter accounts to promote the event and his scratchcard in the lead up to the show, with Gala providing extensive after-show social media activity.
