3 Monkeys Communications appoints Hugh Burrows as head of digital

Hugh Burrows has been named as the new head of digital at 3 Monkeys Communications.

Burrows joins 3 Monkeys from Unity where he also held the role of head of digital, managing digital elements of major campaigns including Marks & Spencer's Shwopping initiative.

As head of digital Burrows is tasked with leading an experienced digital team through day-to-day operations, his main responsibility will be to further cement and expand the agency's digital build, branded content and strategic capabilities.

Along with his team at 3 Monkey's Burrows will strategical lead digital executions for agency clients including Microsoft, Three, Novartis and Kerry Food.

Burrows brings with him 12 years of experience across online, social and mobile to the role.

Of the appointment, Burrows commented: "I’m joining 3 Monkeys at a key point in the agency’s evolution. Our strategy for further developing the digital offering here is going to make a huge difference to the business, our clients and most importantly, our campaigns…I’m looking forward to growing our capabilities in digital and social strategy, creativity and delivery.”
