Almost a quarter (24 per cent) of users are of the opinion that Blackberry is still playing catch up to other mobile devices in the market, research from Crimson Hexagon has found.

An analysis of over 14,000 tweets from Crimson Hexagon’s social media analysis platform ForSight found that 20 per cent are sceptical over BlackBerry’s future, while 19 per cent claim to have no interest in Blackberry 10 whatsoever.

It was discovered that two per cent thought that Blackberry had ‘just copied everyone else’ with their new handset.

However, it was not all bad news for Blackberry, with 18 per cent sharing news stories related to the Blackberry launch, while 13 per cent said that the new handsets look impressive and four per cent have said that they plan to buy the new handset.
