Sony has premiered three short films created by 180 Amsterdam to encourage PlayStation users to dedicate more time to online games via the PlayStation Network.

Each clip, which will go live on 4 February, is designed to celebrate a different gaming genre and ‘Way of Play’ to tempt gamers onto the system by highlighting differing approaches to gaming and debunk the myth that the PSN is exclusively a platform for hardcore gamers.

The campaign will dovetail with an online discussion via social media which will invite gamers to comment, share and contribute their own ‘Way of Play’.

180 Amsterdam executive creative director Al Moseley, said: "Playstation Network is the biggest global console gaming network, bringing together people from all corners of the world. The Way of Play lifts the curtain on the people who populate this virtual world. But instead of celebrating the coming together of different cultures and countries , we show it how it really is, and it certainly isn't pretty.”
