Stannah Stairlift campaign aims to change the perceptions of old age

Stannah Stairlifts is hoping to give a fresh perspective on old age with its new ad campaign which is to run on several major UK TV channels until March.

The 30 second creative features an elderly couple preparing to go out and aims to show how a Stannah Stairlift can keep its users feeling and acting young.

Produced by British film production company Active Pictures, the ad will run on the likes of Channel 4, Channel 5 and ITV 3 regularly over the coming months.

Of the initiative, Patrick Stannah, joint managing director of Stannah Lift Services, said: “We are very excited to introduce this new TV advert across the UK. It illustrates in a humorous and sensitive way how our stairlifts can improve the mobility and independence of our customers in the home.”

Struggling to see the humour Patrick. Or are we all supposed to be guffawing at the fact the forgetful old man left his glasses behind? Yeah.. that changes my perception big time.
