Creative England is seeking a head of communications and strategy, one of the jobs being highlighted in the week’s jobs section of The Drum.

This week we also have vacancies at Fig Creative, USP Creative and Shipley College to highlight.

The role at Creative England will see a head of communications appointed on a two-year contract where they will lead the organisation's communications team, working closely with chief executive, Caroline Norbury.

The role will mainly include developing strong relationships with partners and stakeholders, while implementing a ‘strong’ internal communications policy.

The annual salary is between £45,000 and £55,000.

USP Creative is searching for a creative director who is able to create pitch winning ideas and who has experience across marketing, customer communications and digital.

The role will see the successful candidate charged with understanding client issues and being able to balance their needs and the creation of leading work. They will present to clients, while aiming to help grow new business and take responsibility for liaising with the studio manager to ensure a smooth flow of work.

Fig Creative is searching for a marketing and sales assistant with a salary of between £16,000 to £19,000 working from the agency’s offices in Glossop.

The successful candidate will help the agency’s directors to develop Fig Creative, handle incoming enquiries and orders coming into the office and ensure the correct briefs are undertaken and documented. Helping assist with the development of marketing campaign to generate enquiries and follow up sales will be another element of the job.

The candidate will ideally have experience of working within a creative or marketing agency previously.

Shipley College is seeking to employ a marketing assistant earning between £18,697 to £20,414 each year.

They will be expected to support the head of marketing and to help provide marketing and PR insight in order to promote the college, its courses, initatives and events internally and externally while also plan and implement integrated campaigns and utilise a range of strategies such as print, mail, events, social media, digital and broadcast.

Finally, a design lead is being sought by Direct Recruitment to work for a boutique agency in London.

The role will include working directly with the management and account teams, as well as clients to develop creative concepts, and take them through the creative development process working to a tight turnaround period.

The annual salary will fall between £40,000 and £50,000.
