Brittany Ferries is set to launch a new TV ad today: the first ad for the brand created by Bray Leino following the agency winning a four-way pitch in August 2012.

Jon Elsom, Bray Leino’s executive creative director, said: “Brittany Ferries has a unique offering, providing travellers and holiday makers access to the heart of Spain and France, with a travel experience that provides limitless possibilities.

“Our campaign aims to break with industry norms and connect with a new audience and get them excited about travel and holidays with Brittany Ferries. Our brief is to grow brand awareness and increase passenger numbers over the next three years. The launch of this hugely exciting campaign is the first step in achieving this.”

Richard Price, head of marketing at Brittany Ferries, added: “Our business has ambitious growth targets in the next few years and central to that growth will be connecting with new audiences and drawing in new consumers to self-drive holidays by ferry. The work Bray Leino has developed takes us in a new direction, and we’re all hugely excited about the campaign breaking.”

The ad will be aired in both 30 and 60 second executions, as well as cinema, digital, press, PR and direct mail forming part of the campaign.
