Greggs to appoint Shine Group's chief financial officer Allison Kirby as non-exec director
Allison Kirby, chief financial officer for media production company Shine Group is to join the board of high street bakers Greggs as an independent non-executive director.
Kirkby, who until 2011 was executive director of finance operations and transformation at Virgin Media, will take up the position from 30 January.
Derek Netheron, chairman of Greggs, said: "We are very pleased to welcome Allison to the Board. She will bring additional financial expertise and experience, and her background in consumer brand businesses and media organisations will be of great value in the next phase of the development of our brand."
She is set to take over the chair position of the company’s Audit committee following the appointment of Ian Durant as board chairman in May.
