Unruly has unveiled a Super Bowl social video playbook and infographic, with the aim of helping brands to optimise their ads for the web.

The guide looks at how three-quarters of the top 20 ads from Super Bowl 2012 were launched online before the game, and looks to provide insight into the type of content which is proven to get shared online.

Art Zeidman, president of Unruly, America, said: “Unruly’s Super Bowl Social Video Playbook gives advertisers critical, actionable insights on how they make the most of their Super Bowl social video strategy.”

The infographic looks at how seven of the top 10 ads had ‘teaser’ videos, and that 92 per cent of the total shares from the 2012 Super Bowl came from the top 20 ads.
