Orange unveils ad to show sponsorship of African Cup of Nations

Orange has unveiled an ad, created by French agency Marcel, to promote the brand’s sponsorship of the African Cup of Nations.

Featuring a reinterpretation of 'You'll Never Walk Alone', the ad aims to celebrate the supporters of each team, as well as the games, by showing three generations of fans desperate to make it to support their team.

The ad ends with the strapline ‘We know what it takes to be a supporter, that’s why we support you’.

Orange will also carry out digital activities as part of the sponsorship, and will be giving away 1,000 tickets.

According to Marcel, Orange is also ‘organising numerous events to accompany the supporters throughout the games’.
