Starbucks seems to be looking to win back customers lost during the tax avoidance claims, as it unveils a new campaign offering customers lattes for £1.50 on Monday morning, with the thought that ‘Monday’s can be great’.

Created by AMV BBDO, the campaign celebrates things that have happened on a Monday, such as the first cinema being opened, man walking on the moon for the first time and Big Ben first ‘bong’ing.

Running until 18 February, the through-the-line campaign launched on Sunday with a TV ad.

The promotion will run concurrently with the MyStarbucksRewards scheme.
