Plusnet to air new home phone and broadband advert on Boxing Day

Home phone and broadband provider Plusnet has announced it is to launch its new advert on Boxing Day (Wednesday 26 December).

The new advert , created by Karmarama, follows on from Plusnet's 'Days of Fibre' advert which ran back in Autumn and will debut during Channel 4's screening of The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers.

Directed by Sam Walker and filmed at Rockingham Speedway in Northamptonshire, the ad brings back the popular Plusnet characters. Joe will still lead the advert as he pains half of the winners podium and the characters white, showing that there is half off all Plusnet broadband packages when you take out home phone.

It is estimated that over two thirds of UK adults (73 per cent) will see the new ad five times on average.
