Marketing Blackpool selects Vivid to design a new website for VisitBlackpool

Marketing Blackpool has announced plans for a new website to promote the VisitBlackpool and Marketing Blackpool brands in 2013.

North-West based web-designers Vivid have been selected to develop the website, which will focus on enhancing the customer journey for those using the site, paying particular importance to the Blackpool Resort Pass, the main marketing campaigns for 2013, accommodation and ensuring users can enjoy the benefits of an easy to use site.

The re-design, which will be revealed in Spring 2013, will also see an emphasis on the work of Marketing Blackpool, which will include the promotion of the Fylde Coast for Inward Investment.

Managing director of Marketing Blackpool, Natalie Wyatt, commented on the website plans: “It has been a long and very interesting process to find a new web designer for our site but we are delighted to have selected Vivid who understand our corporate and consumer needs.

“It is essential the VisitBlackpool brand is as prominent as possible. Blackpool is the UK’s favourite holiday resort and therefore we have to ensure our website is at the forefront of the tourism industry, but most importantly it has to be user friendly.”
