Broadbandchoices.co.uk names Tobin Ireland as chairman of the board
Tobin Ireland has been appointed as chairman of the broadbandchoices.co.uk board, with immediate effect.
Ireland brings more than 20 years of experience in the European TMT sector and has served as the commercial director of BskyB, chief marketing officer of AOL Europe, and global commercial director of Vodafone.
An active investor and advisor, Ireland also works with early stage companies in the mobile internet space and has sat on the boards of Vouchercloud, Amobee, Finsphere, eHarmony and Green Man Gaming.
Broadbandchoices.co.uk managing director Michael Phillips commented: “Now is the right time to appoint a chairman to help propel us to the next stage in our expansion…a chairman of Tobin’s calibre will provide invaluable board leadership and ensure rigour in our strategy so that we reach our long term goals.
