Edinburgh-based Redpath Design has confirmed that the agency was put into liquidation on Friday 30 November 2012.

In a statement sent to The Drum by former Redpath managing director Richard Irvine, Irvine confirmed it was “with great sadness” the agency had gone into liquidation.

Irvine’s statement reads: “It is with great sadness that I can confirm that Redpath Design Ltd was put into liquidation on 30 November 2012, after almost 18 years of working with the most fantastic group of clients and colleagues to produce some of the best (and best-known) design, brand and communications work in Scotland.

“Unfortunately, four years of hard and attritional recession simply proved too much for our business to bear. I have been heartened by the supportive response of staff and clients as well as our trade creditors, and would like to offer my personal thanks not only for their support now, but also for that which they showed over the many years we worked together.”

Over the years Redpath has worked with the likes of Scotland’s Islands, Marketing Society Scotland, Limpet Technology, and NHS Scotland and the Scottish Bowel Screening Programme.
