SPAM unveils Christmas cracker Facebook app
SPAM is getting into the Christmas spirit by unveiling a Facebook app today, created by iProspect.
Designed by Kerbang, the app allows fans the chance to pull a ‘cracker’ in order to be entered into a prize draw, which will see 12 winners receive a SPAM stocking filled with branded goodies and a £50 supermarket voucher.
The app also fulfils the cracker tradition by having a joke inside: although the jokes are ‘hammy’ rather than cheesy, such as ‘Where does a SPAM fan go for a Caribbean Holiday? The Ham-in-a-can Republic.’
The closing date for this promotion is the 18 December, with the winners to be announced on the Facebook page on 19 December.
