Subscription-free streaming service blinkbox has added a raft of children’s shows after striking deals with eOne, Aardman, Lionsgate and Cookie Jar.

The service, owned by Tesco, will now stream such shows as Peppa Pig, Shaun the Sheep and The Adventures of Paddington Bear.

Michael Comish, CEO of Tesco digital entertainment, said: “We are thrilled to have some of the hottest children’s programmes on blinkbox, especially as we head into the holidays. This is good news for kids and parents alike.”

The shows can be accessed through PCs, Macs, games consoles, tablets and Smart devices.
