Pizza delivery expert Domino’s Pizza is to celebrate its worldwide presence by throwing a global pizza party tomorrow (Thursday 6 December).

Customers in 52 countries, including the UK, will be able to partake in Domino’s global party and receive 50 per cent off any full menu priced pizza ordered online through a specialised Facebook tab.

With stores in more than 70 markets and open to anyone with a Facebook account in participating countries, UK pizza lovers who are interested in joining in with Global Domino’s Day should visit and ‘Like’ the Domino’s Pizza UK Facebook page and follow the instructions to join the party and take advantage of the half-price deal.

While on the tab, Facebook users will also be able to see how many fans have joined in the fun from across the globe. Taking on a format similar to New Year’s Eve, the event will launch in New Zealand with the party stretching across the world’s time zones until the United States places its last orders. Domino’s is also encouraging fan participation on Twitter via the hashtag #GlobalDominosDay.

“We’re delighted to be taking part in Global Domino’s Day,” said Simon Wallis, sales and marketing director of Domino’s Pizza in the UK and ROI. “As an international brand, Domino’s is proud of its global presence and we really appreciate our customers around the world. We’re excited to be able to unite over 11 million Domino’s Pizza Facebook fans, representing 52 different countries, with the same special offer and look forward to our UK fans joining in alongside their international pizza loving counterparts.”
