Chesty dry and tickly cough remedy Veno's is back advertising on ITV in time for the cold and flu season.

Its first new ad in a decade was developed by Fox Kalomaski Crossing and shows a parrot being pushed around the room by a man's strong cough. The man's partner then reaches for Veno's and the parrot squawks, 'she knows..now he knows..'.

Forest Laboratories and its marketing partner Ceuta Healthcare is launching the new ad this week, just as a cold snap has arrived in the UK.

Clare Young, group marketing manager of Forest Laboratories, said: "Since acquiring Veno's last year, we are continuing to invest in the brand and this latest campaign, reinforced by window stickers and shelf barkers in the pharmacy channel, will help drive growth during this key selling period."
