American sweetener brand Sweet‘N Low has announced the appointment of Peppermint PR to launch the product in the UK.

Sweet’N Low has secured its first major supermarket listing with Tesco, making this the first time British consumers will be able to use the product outside of cafes.

Gerry Mullally, senior vice president of the family-run Cumberland Packing Corp, said: “We’re delighted to be finally making Sweet’N Low available to British consumers for their use at home. With the help of Peppermint, we’ll be kick-starting a brand new marketing campaign and look forward to bringing even more products to the UK market in the future.”

Peppermint won the account following a competitive three-way pitch.

Jean-Philippe Glaskie, managing director at Peppermint, added: “We’re thrilled to have been selected to work with one of the world’s most long-standing and recognisable brands. Winning a global brand of the stature of Sweet‘N Low is a clear reflection of our team’s calibre and of the integrated, creative expertise that we now offer in-house.”
