Superfast Cornwall, a £132m broadband initiative being run by BT, Cornwall Council and the EU is to run its latest advertising campaign from this week.

The campaign, created by The Agency, will promote the strategy to offer at least 80 per cent of Cornish homes fibre optic broadband, with the first ads running in press and online from Friday (23 November).

Commented Ranulf Scarbrough, Superfast Cornwall programme director for BT: “We are determined to ensure that Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly are able to take full advantage of faster broadband and, to do so, it is essential that we make as many local households and businesses as possible aware of the great opportunities offered by this pioneering roll-out.”

The Agency explained that a core element of the brief was to refine the Superfast Cornwall proposition, while developing creative to encourage residents and businesses within the area to connect.
