Pernod Ricard appoints M&C Saatchi Sport and Entertainment for Martell VS campaign

Pernod Ricard has announced the appointment of M&C Saatchi Sport and Entertainment to market French Cognac brand Martell VS.

The agency will be creating a unique series of music and food collaborations for Martell as part of the integrated campaign, with the first set to launch this month and feature Jamie Cullum and Raymond Blanc.

M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment is responsible for brokering the artist partnerships as well as planning and delivering the expansion of the campaign across digital, PR and events.

Dave Roberts, head of entertainment at M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment, said: “We are delighted to have been appointed by Martell to deliver this incredibly exciting integrated campaign. Having worked with Jameson and Havana Club for many years, we are really pleased to be able to add Martell into our family of Pernod Ricard brands.”

The campaign is set to launch this month and run until July 2013.

Vicky Wood, marketing controller for Pernod Ricard, added: “We are very pleased to be working with M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment on Martell. The creative platform that they have developed is really exciting. The idea, centred around creating very special experiences, is designed to engage a baby boomer audience through multiple channels”.
