Winston’s Wish, the charity for bereaved children, has announced the appointment of nerv.

Nerv was appointed following a pitch against undisclosed agencies.

Robin Fisher, creative director at nerv, said: “We are ecstatic to have the opportunity to work with such an ambitious charity and worthy cause. We will be working closely with Winston’s Wish in order to maximise their visibility both online and offline.”

The first task for the agency will be to deliver the charity’s national fundraising campaign, The Great British Brekkie.

Fiona Talwar-Lomberg, charity chief executive, said: “nerv are the perfect choice to help us create industry-leading engagement with our audiences. Both their pitch and their solution-led approach to our marketing challenges proved exceptional.

“We look forward to getting thousands of people around the country engaged with and supporting the charity in 2013."
