Independent Scottish brewer Innis & Gunn has taken its first steps into e-commerce by launching an online shop selling a range of beer and branded merchandise to the UK market.

Designed by long-term digital partner, Dog Digital, the online shop gives Innis & Gunn a new platform to sell and distribute its oak-aged beers online. Twelve items are available to buy online now including the brands core range (sold in cases), as well as special Limited Edition brews such as the newly released Winter Treacle Porter and Spiced Rum Finish, festive Gift Packs. Branded glassware can also be purchased from the site.

The Edinburgh-based beer company has revealed it will regularly add products to the site including seasonal beers and other limited editions. To mark the site’s launch the brand is also offering free shipping on orders over £50.

Lucy Cross, marketing manager, Innis & Gunn, commented: “This has been a very special project for us and one that we’re thrilled to see go live.

“Having an online shop means that we can finally reward our Innis & Gunn fans in the UK with a taste of some of the beers they’ve not managed to get at home as well as the great-tasting beer they already do. And then there are a few other fun items for safekeeping.”

Business development director at Dog Digital, David Hamilton, added: “We at Dog were delighted to work with Innis & Gunn again on the launch of their online shop. They have proven themselves to be a very forward-thinking company with excellent insight into the way that digital platforms can extend their offerings. With such fantastic beer and loyal and enthusiastic customers, we feel confident that providing greater access to their products will be a great success.”
