Pope Benedict XVI to start tweeting from personal account
The Vatican has announced that Pope Benedict XVI will soon begin tweeting from a personal account.
Spokesperson Rev. Federico Lombardi announced that the Twitter handle will be revealed when the Vatican officially launches the account, which could be before the end of the year.
In June last year, the Pope sent his first tweet from the Vatican account, which read: "Dear Friends, I just launched http://t.co/fVHpS9y Praised be our Lord Jesus Christ! With my prayers and blessings, Benedictus XVI."
