Coca-Cola has revealed that its Christmas campaign will launch on 10 November during the X Factor, with a #holidaysarecoming hashtag to be used in the run up to the launch to build excitement.

Teasers, quizzes and polls will be run across social media to create buzz, while the Christmas Truck Tour is also set to return, with a dedicated hub set up on the CokeZone website to reveal the dates it will be visiting each city.

Coca-Cola has announced it will also celebrate local heroes, asking for nominations, with the truck to deliver the ‘ultimate Christmas experience to four winners homes’.

Zoe Howorth, marketing director for Coca-Cola Great Britain, said:"Coca-Cola has a rich history of spreading Christmas joy through our marketing campaigns, with our ‘Holidays are Coming’ ad and truck which are loved across the world. We’re excited to be joining together with consumers in the countdown to Christmas and sprinkling some Coca-Cola Christmas magic, harnessing both the brand’s heritage and core media platforms to spread some festive cheer.”

The Christmas advert for the brand is also set to play on the Piccadilly Sign.
