Does getting drunk make you a more effective creative? The Drum aims to find out

Ever wondered if a few beers would make you more creative? Help you break through that brick wall? Well now’s your chance to find out as The Drum conducts its ‘Newt/Judge Experiment’.

In the next month we here at The Drum would like to figure out once and for all what makes you more creative, beer or tea? And to do so we need some guinea pigs.

The experiment itself will see two teams (each made up of one senior creative team, one middleweight team and some students) work on the same brief over the course of a day, one will consume lots of free booze courtesy of The Drum, and the other will be tea-total. At the end of the night the work will be judged by top creative directors (to be announced soon).

The bar is stocked and everything’s in place so all we need now are the creatives. If you’re interested, or know someone who would be, contact newt.judge@gmail.com.
