An advertising campaign from Volvo will be released today in Ireland to promote its V40 vehicle in Ireland, using the Shazam for TV service.
The campaign will allow viewers to use the Shazam App to tag the commercial, offering them access to promotion links and social sharing capabilities in doing so, while allowing them to sign up for a test drive and the chance to win an iPad Mini.
The first advert will aid on TV3 in three different slots from today (Monday 5 November).
The partnership, the first of its kind in Ireland, has been devised by Mindshare Ireland and Adforce.ie.
“We are delighted to be the first brand in Ireland to be associated with TV Shazam. This is really exciting way of interacting with customers and gives an added dimension to standard advertising,” commented Patricia Greene, product and marketing manager at Volvo Car Ireland.
