Debenhams has announced the launch of its multi-million pound Christmas TV advert since 2006: ‘Christmas Made Fabulous’.

Set to air from Wednesday 7 November, and running until 15 December, the advert by JWT London follows a woman’s journey home for Christmas and builds on the ‘Life Made Fabulous’ ads featuring designers at Debenhams.

Richard Cristofoli, Debenhams marketing director, said: “It makes sense to launch a Christmas campaign with a recognisable brand identity established in the consumer mind-set. And that’s what we’ve done.

“The British public love a good Christmas ad, which is why we have been building up to this moment from the start of our ‘Life Made Fabulous’ brand campaign in 2011.

‘It’s about showing customers the quality items we have on offer and communicating our unique Designers at Debenhams concept while creating that all important festive feeling.

"We have built up a great partnership with Carat, they really understand our business and this campaign will help to further engage our customers on multiple platforms and offer them something fabulous this Christmas.””

A social media campaign will encourage consumers to share their favourite #christmasmoments, while a print campaign featuring Aurasma enabled images will also be launched.

The store has also created an online hub to encourage customers to share photos of their Christmas moments, with the best ones each week to win a prize.
