Jazz FM and British Airways have signed a deal to broadcast the station's weekly show, Jazz Shapers, in association with law firm Mishcon de Reya, aboard British Airways flights.

From today the one-hour long programme will feature on the majority of the main fleet (around 115 aircrafts) and will be available in all travel classes. Hosted by Mishcon de Reya’s director of business development and former LBC radio presenter Elliot Moss, Jazz Shapers is broadcast every Wednesday evening on Jazz FM and features music from the risk takers, leaders and influencers of jazz, soul, funk and blues, alongside interviews with their equivalent in the business world.

The first programmes which have been chosen to be broadcast on British Airways include interviews with: Sir John Hegarty, co-founder of global advertising agency BBH; Carol Hayes, founder of Carol Hayes Management; co-founder of the Leon food restaurant chain, John Vincent; Lara Morgan, founder of companyshortcuts.com; Risk Capital Partners chairman, Luke Johnson; and “mumpreneur” and expert on children’s food and nutrition, Annabel Karmel.

Jo Coltman, director of sales at Jazz FM, commented: “Jazz Shapers will appeal to BA’s extensive business franchise along the North America route as the programme features a desert-island jazz format in which leading business people choose their favourite jazz tracks and tell the story of their business lives.”

Director of business development at Mishcon de Reya, Elliot Moss, added: “We're very proud of the programme we've created with Jazz FM and really pleased to reach an even bigger audience through British Airways and High Life."
