The PhotoVoice Auction of Exceptional Photographs is to return on Tuesday 20 November.

Hosted by marketing and technology agency LBi at the Atlantis Building, part of the old Truman Building, Brick Lane, London, the celebration of photography includes 85 live and silent auction lots.

The prints will be auctioned to benefit charity PhotoVoice, who design and develop projects for the empowerment of marginalised groups worldwide for positive social change.

Back for its 10th year, the collection includes Nadav Kander’s Embrace, Ian Berry’s Juke Box Johannesburg, 1961 and John Chillingworth’s Diana Dors, 19 May 1956. Works by Sarah Moon, Herb Ritts, Tim Flach, Simon Roberts, Jane Bown, Michael Kenna and Laura Hynd amongst others are also on offer.

From Thursday 1 November until Tuesday 20 November a selection of the prints to be auctioned will be on display at LBi, from 9am until 6pm.

The silent auction commences on Friday 16 November at 9am and closes at 9pm. Bidding for silent auction lots will be carried out by text this year to make it easier for those who cannot attend the event.

Sebastien Montabonel, senior european specialist at Phillips de Pury & Company, who will be the auctioneer on the night, commented:“It gives me the greatest pleasure and honour to lend my support to this auction and to the work of PhotoVoice. The magnificent donations of photographs to this auction are inspiring. There is work here from emerging new talents as well as well-known names and from every genre of photography – you will undoubtedly find something here to excite and stimulate you.”
