The Marketing Weak Awards: Ford B-Max - Dive

Welcome to the latest installment of The Marketing Weak awards, The Drum's new column which reaches the parts many would prefer we didn't reach. Here we highlight some of the less salubrious work coming out of the industry each week.

This week's entry fails to really dive into the pool we like to describe as 'good'.

At last... a car you can dive through when you need to get from a high platform to the water below without smashing into a vehicle. This definitely draws attention to this car's unique quality but there's no explanation of its benefits and the supers appear to contradict the central claim.

You can almost hear the echoes from the proud B-Max owners in the pub “I'd never even consider driving a car with a solid structure between the front and back doors... it makes the entire experience of owning the car so much better... and I can dive through it if I want to, can you do that with your Vauxhall?... I didn't think so!”
