Honda UK has unveiled its programme of events as well as its social media activity surrounding the partnership with the James Bond film, Skyfall.

To kick of its series of activities, Honda launched a competition on its website and Facebook page offering the winner a Bond Experience weekend.

The bespoke Facebook tab hosting the competition was boosted with behind the scenes footage and images from Skyfall, with insider commentary about the action from Gary Powell, chief stunt co-ordinator.

Honda has also participated in the annual Motorcycle Live show at the NEC in Birmingham, featuring its ‘Police’ and ‘Street Merchant’ bikes from the film, and will also be hosting a silent auction to win the modified Honda CRF250R used in the opening sequence of the film.

All activities have been supported on the brand’s Twitter page where fans have been encouraged to sign up to win more Skyfall related prizes between now and the end of the year.

Honda (UK) corporate communications manager, Fiona Cole, said: “At Honda we like to look for innovative ways to showcase our diverse products and engage with our existing customers whilst also reaching out to new audiences and, our association with Skyfall has enabled us to do this.

“For Honda machines to have been selected as the choice the Bond filmakers is great testament and especially so in this special 50th anniversary year of this hugely popular film franchise.”
