Gillette has revealed plans to open ‘The Best a Mo Can Get’, a pop up barbershop free for all Mo Bros, this Movember. Just off London’s iconic Carnaby Street, the barber's will be open seven days a week throughout the month offering free tache touch ups.

The barbershop is a 1940s style affair complete with traditional barbers upstairs and a bar and games room downstairs. The downstairs bar is decked out with rich leather seating and antique bookshelves, a vintage vinyl player and vintage games such as poker dice, backgammon, dominoes and chess are included. Guests can also snap their new Movember style in the customised photobooth.

On arrival Gillette will treat Mo Bros to a complimentary drink followed by a luxury shaving experience with a qualified barber. Events have been planned to run throughout the month including live entertainment, gigs, DJ sets, Whiskey tastings and Cocktail nights.

‘The Best a Mo Can Get’ is part of the brands ongoing partnership with Movember which aims to raise awareness and funds for Prostate Cancer UK and The Institute of Cancer Research by encouraging men across the UK to “embrace the gentlemanly spirit of the Mo”. Gillette will also be raising up to £100,000 for Movember through donations for every Gillette product sold with the Movember Stamp.

Jared Regan, Gillette brand manager, commented: “As part of our commitment to Movembers cause we wanted to provide Mo Bros with a gentlemanly space for their Movember experience.

“Mo Bros are the advocates of such an important cause so by offering them free touch ups for their Mos we hope to encourage more people than ever to get involved. Together with Movember and our Gillette consumers across the UK, we’re going to change the face of men’s health, one Mo at a time!”
