MAC South Australia shows everyone plays a part in road accidents in unusual safety campaign

The Motor Accident Commission (MAC) of South Australia has unveiled a new campaign, created by Clemenger BBDO Adelaide, to raise awareness that ‘creeping’ over the speed limit is also dangerous.

The campaign uses a crashed car effect made up of painted bodies, put together by body paint artist Emma Hack, to show ‘we all play a part’.

Karl Fleet, executive creative director at Clemenger BBDO Adelaide, said: "In the TV commercial we presented the idea of the entire community coming together and contributing to a crashed car. For the print campaign we wanted to push this message further by constructing a crash using actual people.”

The campaign comprises of TV, newspaper, radio, cinema, online and outdoor advertisements.
