Jukes & Co bakery brand whipped up by Kayak

Bakery company Jukes & Co has unveiled its name and brand identity with Kayak.

The agency decided to use one of the directors' surname for the brand name, while adding ‘and co’ to make it feel established.

Kayak said: “The logo reflects the quality of the produce and will quickly become a recognisable stamp of quality across their product range when it is launched in the coming months.”

The marque and logo is inspired by vintage American graphics, with a distressed texture to promote a hand-crafted feel.

Alison Jukes, director of Jukes & Co, said: "Having never worked with a branding agency, the team at Kayak made the whole process easy and we were impressed by their depth of understanding of our bakery business. Because of their interpretation of our vision, we were delighted with their initial ideas which were just what we were looking for and reflected our values. We look forward to continuing our relationship with them."
