7digital announced as official downloads partner for BlackBerry 10
Research in Motion has partnered with 7digital to become the official music downloads service to the BlackBerry 10.
This has allowed users of the operating system to purchase some of the 22 million MP3 tracks directly from BlackBerry App World via a dedicated section of the storefront.
It is hoped the move will also pave the way for social features such as sharing and recommendations.
The partnership with RIM follows 7digital's July announcement that it would be the first music service to bring a digital store to Microsoft’s Windows 8 operation system.
