Linknode has today unveiled its augmented reality app 3DTry.it, which allows 360-degree model visualisation.

Launched at the 3D Print Show 2012, the app by the Stirling based company utilises smart phone and tablet technology and requires no markers, no paper cut out squares, prints or trackers.

Dr Crispin Hoult, director at Linknode, said: “Ever decreasing deadlines create a need for greater collaboration between designers, partners and clients.

“3DTry.it is the first intuitive hands-free previewer app that supports real-time 3D model viewing and sharing.”
