Retail advertising agency Gratterpalm has appointed Mark Robinson as its new creative director.

Robinson was previously creative director at Sheffield agency Uber, where he worked on brands including Boots, Tombola and Yorkshire Cancer Research.

At Leeds-based Gratterpalm he will be responsible for a 20-strong creative department working with clients such as Greggs, Morphy Richards and Asda.

"With a number of recent high-profile client wins including betting chain, Coral, and telecommunications provider, KC, there couldn’t be a better time for me to join the agency," Robinson said.

His arrival follows the recent appointments of Joey Whincup as planning director for brands and Peter Garnett as head of creative services.
