YouGov poll finds the Daily Telegraph and telegraph.co.uk are business leaders most favoured news sources

A poll of senior managers has found the Daily Telegraph to be the most read quality daily newspaper amongst UK business leaders. Its sister website telegraph.co.uk was also found to be the most read quality website amongst this group.

Of those surveyed 32 per cent of senior managers had read the Daily Telegraph in the last week, beating off competitors The Times (26 per cent) and the Guardian (21 per cent). When asked which newspaper they had read yesterday the Telegraph came out on top again with 21 per cent, followed by The Times and the Guardian with 16 per cent and 12 per cent respectively.

In terms of news websites telegraph.co.uk was the most visited national newspaper website for business leaders. Of those surveyed 27 per cent said they had visited the site in the last week, 25 per cent of those surveyed had visited guardian.co.uk and 23 per cent had viewed dailymail.co.uk.
