Wellness Foods Ltd appoints UM London for £3m account

Wellness Foods Ltd has announced the appointment of UM London to handle its media planning and buying account.

Said to be worth £3m, the contract was won following a competitive pitch process.

Mark Elderkin, marketing director at Wellness Foods, said: “We were impressed by UM London’s people, approach and ‘Curiosity Works’ positioning and look forward to working with the agency across our range of brands.”

Andy Jones, CEO of UM London, said: “We are delighted that Wellness Foods have chosen to work with us. With General Mills, Dairy Crest and Burton’s Foods in our portfolio, we have developed a sound understanding of the food and drink category, and we hope to channel that expertise into our media strategy for Wellness Foods over the coming months and years.”
