Macy's appoints Carat for $500m media business

Macy’s has announced the appointment of Carat to handle its $500m media business.

Carat will be responsible for media planning and buying for Macy's broadcast and digital after the retailer moves its business from MEC.

Interpublic Group’s Initiative and Publicis Groupe's Starcom and Razorfish were also involved in the pitch for the business, it has been revealed.
