Hitachi campaign from McCann Birmingham sees brand advertise in Italy for first time

A B2B for Hitachi pan-European campaign has rolled out, which will see the brand advertising in Italy for the first time.

Created by McCann Birmingham, the campaign will also run in Romania and Poland, with the aim of building upon previous brand campaigns from last year which ran in the regions.

The focus of the campaign will promote Hitachi’s social innovation business.

Edi FitzGerald, managing director of business communications at McCann Birmingham, explained: “The campaign’s creative executions have been developed to showcase Hitachi’s expertise and support for its Social Innovation Business.

“The company’s Social Innovation Business is at the centre of the creative campaign, which communicates Hitachi’s aim of enabling business customers and the wider society to meet their own goals for sustainable growth, as well as providing solutions to create ‘win win’ situations. By taking advantage of McCann’s worldwide network, we are taking the brand to reach international audiences.”

Hans Daems, public affairs officer at Hitachi Europe, added: “This new campaign builds upon the success gained last year from advertising in the Polish and Romanian markets and which is now expanded to Italy. This enables us to raise awareness of our business in both new and familiar European markets.”
