Birmingham Museums awards Reeves Green the contract to promote two new galleries

Birmingham Museums, the UK’s largest independent museums trust, has expanded its work with Lichfield-based marketing communications agency, Reeves Green awarding it additional work for the new Trust following a competitive pitch. Reeves Green was invited to pitch for the contract for two new galleries within Thinktank and Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery.

Head of marketing at Birmingham Museums Trust, Gillian McCurdy, commented: “Having worked with Reeves Green at Thinktank, I was pleased to be able to work with them on these projects. As all the museums within the new Trust work together more closely to share best practice and encourage a broader spectrum of visitors, it’s important that our marketing reflects this.

“The team at Reeves Green has created a campaign that is touching and motivating the people of Birmingham and beyond to discover more about this amazing city.”

Colin Reeves, director at Reeves Green, added: “We’re delighted to be moving forward with the Trust to promote the new ‘Birmingham: its people, its history’ galleries at Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery, as well as the ‘We Made It’ gallery at Thinktank, opening early 2013.

“We have a great deal of experience in the leisure sector, and I believe powerful, dynamic creative is the key to making these two launches a success.”
