Tumblr rolls out new iOS app and photo-sharing platform
Micro-blogging site Tumblr has unveiled a new iOS app and photo-sharing platform called Photoset which has allowed users to create new picture layouts.
The stand alone website was launched to allow anyone to create a Photoset, not just Tumblr users, and now the free Photoset app has been made available on the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.
Speaking on its blog the company said: “Photosets have been one of our favourite additions to Tumblr. You’ve surprised us a thousand times over with your creativity. It’s hard to imagine Tumblr without photos, and we love the power a set of photos has to tell a story.”
