Today marks the end of our week long reveal of Truce Commission posters created by rival design firms. What is the Truce Commission you ask? Well we invited 12 rival design consultancies to do posters for each other. Why not? They always advise clients not to attempt their own creative work on the grounds they might be too close to certain issues to be objective. And it proved particularly timely as a way of marking the international day of peace – September 21.

But now we are asking other agencies to get involved. As we explained when we began this project, one agency - Cooke With an E - was left posterless when its rival had tot pull out. Puur Creative was the first to step up and produced a poster from the brief given by Cooke With an E, and now we need an agency for Puur. The agency who takes on this challenge will then have its brief published as a call for another firm and so on and so forth. If all goes to plan we hope to carry the project through to next year and create an exhibition of Truce Commission work. You can find the briefs, creative work, and rationales below. To get involved take a look at the Puur Creative brief below and contact project co-ordinator Jen Faull – jen.faull@thedrum.com. Puur's poster for Baxter and Bailey

Rationale from Michael Rance, creative director, Puur CreativeSomething that struck a chord with us from the Baxter and Bailey brief was the phrase ‘…It's where these sectors converge that Baxter and Bailey see exciting potential for creativity…’. This became the cornerstone of our simple and bold solution. Take the areas of focus (architecture, design, technology and the arts) and graphically link them. Make Baxter and Bailey the point where ‘great ideas converge’. Job done… hopefully GET INVOLVED: PUUR CREATIVE'S BRIEFAgency background:Puur is a Colchester based design resource set up by Michael Rance. The word ‘Puur’ is Dutch, meaning ‘pure, absolute, perfect, sheer' and was chosen firstly, as the company sits at the centre of Colchester’s Dutch Quarter. Secondly as simple, strong ideas are what we aim to deliver to our clients’ briefs. The area of design Puur will focus on is the creation, development and implementation of visual and verbal identities for SME and larger clients on ‘local’ as well as a national basis. We like to think we deliver relevant and affordable solutions that help our clients to build reputation and business. What would you like your poster to say?• Puur may be young, but we have a wealth of valuable knowledge and experience.• We love design, but at the same time we know that design has a strong business purposeWho should it be aimed at?Commissioners, practitioners and students of designWhat do they currently think of your agency?Who’s Puur? What would you like them to think after seeing the poster?Puur looks interesting, we’d like to speak to these guys.Any mandatories?
