Contre Jour, the popular iOS game that was released last year has been released onto the web through IE10 and Windows 8.

The award winning game saw its creator Max Hryniv work with Mokus and the development team at Clarity Consulting, using HTML5 to make the transition.

The release of Contre Jour follows the roll out of Atari Arcade in September, where eight classic video games were uploaded to a portal by Microsoft, also using HTML5. The titles included Asteroids, Centipede, Combat, Lunar Lander, Missile Command, Pong, Super Breakout, and Yars' Revenge, which worked across multiple browsers, as well as IE10.

“Once I understood how amazing the web game could be, I immediately went to work on creating more levels,” commented Hryniv.

Contre Jour is now live and available to play following a launch event last night.
