Breeze Creative has unveiled its newly minted rum packaging for Mayfair Brands to dovetail with the launch of a new aged golden rum.

Providencia is named in honour of the Spanish ship which was wrecked after hitting a reef off the coast of Florida in 1878, spilling its load of 20,000 coconuts, rum, wine and cigars into the briny.

Speculation at the time suggested that this was no accident, with ship owners keen to claim their insurance proceeds whilst distributing the cargo to early settlers.

They planted the coconuts all over the area, giving rise to today’s Palm Beach.

Crafted from the finest rums, barrel aged for added flavour and sourced from four different Caribbean islands, the 1st batch of Providencia has just been launched into the USA for the princely sum of $25.99.
